I WILL LIVE FOREVER!

I will live forever

By Robert N. Test

The day will come when my body will lie upon a white sheet neatly tucked under four corners of a mattress located in a hospital; busily occupied with the living and the dying. At a certain moment a doctor will determine that my brain has ceased to function and that, for all intents and purposes, my life has stopped.
When that happens, do not attempt to instill artificial life into my body by the use of a machine. And don't call this my deathbed. Let it be called the bed of life, and let my body be taken from it to help others lead fuller lives.

Give my sight to the man who has never seen a sunrise, a baby's face or love in the eyes of a woman.
Give my heart to a person whose own heart has caused nothing but endless days of pain.

Give my blood to the teenager who was pulled from the wreckage of his car, so that he might live to see his grandchildren play.

Give my kidneys to the one who depends on a machine to exist from week to week.

Take my bones, every muscle, every fiber and nerve in my body and find a way to make a crippled child walk.

Explore every corner of my brain.

Take my cells, if necessary, and let them grow so that, someday a speechless boy will shout at the crack of a bat and a deaf girl will hear the sound of rain against her window.

Burn what is left of me and scatter the ashes to the winds to help the flowers grow.

If you must bury something, let it be my faults, my weakness and all prejudice against my fellow man.

Give my sins to the devil.

Give my soul to God.

If, by chance, you wish to remember me, do it with a kind deed or word to someone who needs you. If you do all I have asked, I will live forever.

Robert N. Test, American Poet (1926-1994), was one of the pioneers in promoting organ and tissue donations. In 1976, he wrote an essay titled "To Remember Me." It was first published in The Cincinnati Post and later in Ann Landers' column, as well as in Reader's Digest.

Importance of 3 little words

3 Little Words

Some of the most significant messages people deliver to one another often

I'LL BE THERE -

Come in just three words. When spoken or conveyed, those statements have the
Power to forge new friendships, deepen old ones and restore relationships That have cooled.
The following three word phrases can enrich every relationship:

Being there for another person is the greatest gift we can
Give. When we are truly present for other people, important things happen to
Them and to us. We are renewed in love and friendship. We are restored
Emotionally and spiritually. 'Being there' is at the very, very core of

Civility.

I MISS YOU -

Perhaps more marriages could be salvaged and strengthened if

Couples simply and sincerely said to each other, "I miss you." This powerful

Affirmation tells partners they are wanted, needed, desired and loved.

I RESPECT YOU -

Respect is another way of showing love. Respect conveys the

Feeling that another person is a true equal. It is a powerful way to affirm

The importance of a relationship.

MAYBE YOU'RE RIGHT -

This phrase is highly effective in diffusing an

Argument and restoring frayed emotions. The flip side of "maybe you're

Right" is the humility of admitting "maybe I'm wrong."

PLEASE FORGIVE ME -

Many broken relationships could be restored and healed

If people would admit their mistakes and ask for forgiveness. All of us are

Vulnerable to faults, foibles and failures. A man should never be ashamed to

Own up to he has been in the wrong, which is by saying, in other words, that

He is wiser today than he was yesterday.

I THANK YOU -

Gratitude is an exquisite form of courtesy. People who enjoy

The companionship of good, close friends are those who don't take dailycircle of friendsattitude of gratitude.

Courtesies for granted. They are quick to thank their friends for their many

Expressions of kindness. On the other hand, people whose

Is severely constricted often do not have the

COUNT ON ME -

"A friend is one who walks in when others walk out." "Loyalty

Is an essential ingredient for true friendship; it is the emotional glue

That bonds people. Those who are rich in their relationships tend to be

Steady and true friends. When troubles come, a good friend is there,

Indicating "you can count on me."

LET ME HELP -

The best of friends see a need and try to fill it. When they

Spot a hurt they do what they can to heal it. Without being asked, they

Pitch in and help.

I UNDERSTAND YOU -

People become closer and enjoy each other more if they

Feel the other person accepts and understands them. Letting others know in

So many little ways that you understand him or her is one of the most

Powerful tools for healing your relationship.

GO FOR IT -

Some of your friends may be non-conformists, have unique

Projects and unusual hobbies. Support them in pursuing their interests.

Rather than urging your loved ones to conform, encourage their uniqueness -

Everyone has dreams that no one else has.

I suppose the 3 little words that you were expecting to see have to be

Reserved for those who are special; that is

I LOVE YOU.

The tripple filter test!

In ancient Greece, Socrates was reputed to hold knowledge in high esteem. One day an acquaintance met the great philosopher and said, "Do you know what I just heard about your friend?"

"Hold on a minute," Socrates replied. "Before you talk to me about my friend, it might be good idea to take a moment and filter what you’re going to say. That’s why I call it the triple filter test. The first filter is Truth. Have you made absolutely sure that what you are about to tell me is true?"

"Well, no," the man said, "actually I just heard about it and…"

"All right," said Socrates. "So you don’t really know if it’s true or not. Now, let’s try the second filter, the filter of Goodness. Is what you are about to tell me about my friend something good?"

"Umm, no, on the contrary…"

"So," Socrates continued, "you want to tell me something bad about my friend, but you’re not certain it’s true. You may still pass the test though, because there’s one filter left—the filter of Usefulness. Is what you want to tell me about my friend going to be useful to me?"

"No, not really."

"Well," concluded Socrates, "if what you want to tell me is neither true, nor good, nor even useful, why tell it to me at all?

What you represent

Often our clothes, behaviour, words represent who we are, but we sometimes forget what we are representing.

When we are with someone who know us , our family , our country , with them how we dress, how we act, what we say usually represents just us as a person.

When we are among people who know us & very little about our family, we then our representing ourselves and our family.

And when we are in a situation where others know very little about our family and even less about our country, then in those circumstances we are representing not just ourself as a person, but we represent our family & our country.

It's an old saying in my country - Do nothing that brings dishonour to your country or your family and you will always gain honour for self, family & country!

Its all in the attitude!!!!

ATTITUDE

1) Heavy rains remind us of challenges in life. Never ask for a lighter rain.
Just pray for a better umbrella.
That is attitude.

2) When flood comes, fish eat ants & when flood recedes, ants eat fish.
Only time matters. Just hold on,
God gives opportunity to everyone!

3) Some people always throw stones in your path. It depends on you what you make with them,Wall or Bridge?
Remember you are the architect of your life.

4) Every problem has (“n”+1) solutions,
where “n” is the number of solutions that you have tried
and “1” is that you have not tried. That's life.

5) It's not important
to hold all the good cards in life.
But it's important how well you play
the cards which you hold.

6) Often when we lose all hope
& think this is the end,
God smiles from above and says, relax dear
its just a bend. Not the end.
Have Faith and have a successful life.

7) One of the basic differences
between God and human is,
God gives, gives and forgives.
Human gets, gets, gets and forgets.
Be thankful in life!
